I stayed at Rural Camino Medulas in Ponferrada for one night with a group of friends on motorcycles. The hospitality was exceptional. The manager opened the restaurant specially for us on a Sunday evening and the food served was splendid. The bedrooms were spacious with a luxurious ensuite bathroom. The communal living room was well-equipped and comfortable. The hotel also had a small swimming pool for a refreshing dip. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable.

had another great stay in ponferrada, this time at a lovely little hotel with friendly staff. the owner was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and gave us lots of great tips. the breakfast was delicious and the room was spacious and comfortable. we'll definitely come back again.

The table tennis area was a hit with the kids, offering hours of fun and friendly competition. The accommodations were cozy and rustic, giving us a unique experience. We especially loved the proximity to the Bergidum Theater, just a short drive away, where we enjoyed a fantastic performance.

My children wanted a playground on the hotel grounds for even more entertainment.

I had a wonderful stay at Rural Camino Medulas. The staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The homemade wine and food were delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and quiet. It was perfect for both small families and couples. The owner even cooked me a meal on a Bank Holiday when all the restaurants were closed. I also appreciated the fact that they allowed me to park my car in their yard for free while I did the Camino de Santiago by bike. The guest was also very helpful, providing me with all the information I needed to navigate the city and start the Camino.

We had a great Christmas at this hotel! The staff was amazing and gave us a warm welcome after our long journey. They even provided a delicious welcome meal that was much appreciated. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as it was close to the road that led to the famous Medulas. The hotel also had a big backyard, which was perfect for our children to play and have fun. It was a great advantage to have such a spacious and comfortable room.

The hotel could use some renovations and maintenance. The furniture was a bit old and in need of updating.

The property is situated in a picturesque park-like setting with a basketball court, small swimming pool, and even chickens. The owners, who built and manage the hotel, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home. I had the opportunity to dine in their beautiful garden and the food was simple but delicious. The room I stayed in was charming and beautifully decorated, and the building itself had a rustic farm feel. The breakfast provided was good and I received plenty of attention and explanations about the surrounding area. The hotel is a bit far from the Camino and can only be reached by car, but it's worth the journey. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and enjoyable stay.
